What I’m up to right now
I’m all booked up on consulting work at the foreseeable future (and I’m actually working at Test Double these days), but feel free to get in touch if you’d like to chat!
Jenny and I have been in Vancouver, BC for almost three years now, after I got my permanent residency in 2019. The winters are a bit rainy, but the rest of the time the weather’s lovely, and the culture suits me just great.
We just got back from a trip down to San Cristobal de las Casas, in Chiapas, visiting with some friends. What a great town! Adorable and walkable, terrific vegan food, nice hiking, a big community of semi-transient nomads, philosophically intriguing governance. Even got a chance to try aerial silks, from which my abs are still sore.
I’m training for a 10K in July. I haven’t run one since before COVID, back when we lived in Colorado, and I’ve gotten a little flabby. Training’s coming along, though, and if I manage to finish in under 55 minutes I’ll be delighted.
