Jenny and I are big fans of the GDPR, an EU regulation guaranteeing certain rights to European citizens. It particularly affects big tech companies, requiring them to secure user data, export it in machine-readable formats, and delete it upon request. Since they have to comply with the regulation in Europe, it’s easier and cheaper for most companies to just provide those protections outside Europe, too, which is great for everybody!

We like this regulation so much, in fact, that we commissioned a T-shirt you can buy to celebrate it!
